Female Health Issues
Amenorrhea
Amenorrhea is the absence of menstruation, often defined as missing one or more menstrual periods. Primary amenorrhea refers to the absence of menstruation in someone who has not had a period by age 15.
According to Oriental medicine amenorrhea can occur due to particular organs weakness. Such dysfunction can be found during Japanese medical body health exam. Kidney’s weakness, liver blood weakness or stagnation, or spleen weakness are the most common reasons to be addressed by acupuncturist after body examination.
By strengthening the weak organs and balancing their functions acupuncturist will help to initiate the normal menstruation cycle, period and blood flow.
Clinical Relevance
Amenorrhea is something that could be avoided. The most for a woman at this time is the mind and body balance which directly affect the health of the human body organs and systems.
You can learn how to create and control your mindset balance by reading the pages 19-49 and 61-64 in my book, Your MindBody Alliance & The Truth About Acupuncture.
Our clinical experience shows that people who are not educated in anatomy and physiology are not aware of how to preserve their health. The lack of knowledge and understanding how mind and body correlate leads people to feel out of control over their own health. Reading this book everyone becomes knowledgeable enough to withstand any body health problem and preserve one’s health.
