Lower Back Pain
Lower Back Pain Cause
According to Google the definition of lower back pain is – Low back pain is pain, muscle tension, or stiffness localized below the costal margin and above the inferior gluteal folds, with or without sciatica, and is defined as chronic when it persists for 12 weeks or more.
There are multiple causes for lower back pain like subluxation of one or more lumbar vertebrae, Bulging disk, inflammation of the sacroiliac – SI joint(s), as well as muscle(s), ligaments or tendons inflammation.
In our clinic experience, the multiple lower back pain complaints are presented every day. There are numerous causes we see in our practice that could relate to lower back pain like a bad fall, MVA accident, sport injury, repetitive motion in a workplace or fitness, nerve pinched, habitual poor posture, or simply sedentary lifestyle. Often, after trying other healing methods people finally call on acupuncturist to find relief, and along with having just a few more treatments acquire the total health restoration.
Clinical Relevance
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, lower back problems are related to inflammation initiated in joints and connective tissues that is consequently resulting in ache or pain, and mainly associated with condition of three organs – kidneys, liver and spleen. To understand more about inflammation and how to deal with it you can read on pages 139 – 146 of my book, Your MindBody Alliance & The Truth About Acupuncture.
Our clinical experience shows that people who are not educated in anatomy and physiology are not aware of how to preserve their health. The lack of knowledge and understanding how mind and body correlate leads people to feel out of control over their own health. Reading this book everyone becomes knowledgeable enough to withstand any body health problem and preserve one’s health.
