Acne – What is It?
According to Mayo clinic, acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It causes whiteheads, blackheads or pimples. Acne is most common among teenagers, though it affects people of all ages.
According to Oriental medicine and our clinical experience, we can state that acne in the majority of times is a short but pretty upsetting period of life in girls and boys going through the puberty. Of course, it happens to grown ups as well but not due to inflamed or infected hair follicles only.
And of course, it’s characterised not only as a skin condition, but is much more serious than just a skin problem. Understand, everything people see on their skin except mosquito bite or any other skin pollution coming from without, has origin inside of the body.
The cause for acne is arising from quite a few components: hormonal – endocrine system imbalance, nervous system imbalance, immune system imbalance or compounded imbalance based on more than one system mentioned above.
We can say that some teenagers have acne while others don’t. As explained above, the reasons for any skin outbreaks which are superficial are based on the organs and systems condition that are within. Also, every organ is related to human emotional state and might be supported or weakened by our emotions.
Emotions are related to our life style, character, mindset. They affect our physical being which is a foundation for a whole lifespan.
So, how human essential health systems become disabled, you might think. Everything, including poor eating habits and choices, lack of nutrients, lack of rest and sleeping time, as well as accumulation of overwork and stress affects human organs and systems.
Stress is a bussing word. People seem to use the word stress all the time. Instead of learning the approach of how to deal with people, situations or circumstances that challenge people they rather call them stressful and allow themselves to emerge into the reservoir called stress pool.
Being constantly stressed upsetting the nervous system thus always is followed by disorder in hormonal, immune, digestive systems they loose control of their emotions and acquire a chronic stress disorder which is one of the main true causes for having acne.
