Foot Sole Ache or Pain
The most common cause for having foot sole pain that people experience with every single step is called plantar fasciitis. The pain could be felt in a foot arch or heel. It involves inflammation of a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of each foot and connects the heel bone to the toes (plantar fascia). It supports the arch of the foot and absorbs shock when walking.
Acupuncture Heals Plantar Fasciitis
Although contemporary medicine states that the cause of plantar fasciitis remains unclear in many cases, acupuncturist can diagnose the cause for plantar fasciitis and heal it. Plantar fascia does not exist on its own, it is a part of human body in general and not only related to musculoskeletal system.
People who have flatfeet might often develop plantar fasciitis. Others may develop plantar fasciitis as a consequence of injury or trauma.
Our clinical experience shows that plantar fasciitis happens to people who have weakened liver and spleen and pancreas function. Liver function supports health of connective tissues like fascia, ligaments and tendons and spleen / pancreatic gland function supports the health of the muscles.
During Japanese medical examination acupuncturist is palpating the reflex zones of every organ and system on the patient’s body and identifying which organs and systems need to be addressed during the treatment in order to eliminate plantar fasciitis for good.
Plantar Fasciitis a Real Patient Case
A new patient stepped in our clinic with the complaint of having strong pain in both feet. 4 months ago, he jumped down the stairs missing a couple of stairs and landed down on his feet with excruciating pain. The pain calmed down for a short period of time but was triggered again to the higher degree by playing soccer.
His parents took their son to the specialist who offered the operation on both feet. Doctor said that the boy has flatfeet and this is the main cause for his suffering. He explained that during the surgery the arch of the foot will be elevated and couple of bolts will sustain the improved foot arch structure. It sounded to an acupuncturist as a bit drastic that teenager will have such a debilitating operation which could impact all his future health and wellness.
Acupuncturist diagnosed boy’s health state and addressed every health issue that body revealed during the Japanese medical health assessment. The boy had only one treatment. In three weeks, the boy’s mother called the acupuncturist and said that the boy has no complaints and continues to pay soccer few times a week.
Of course, this “lucky” situation of having only one treatment rarely happens. Usually, people who have plantar fasciitis are not boys and girls but adults whose problems “have grown birds”, so they will need 3-7 treatments to get rid of plantar fasciitis. But the amazing thing is that after acupuncture treatments there will be neither aches nor pain. Our goal is helping you to acquire health and well-being.
If your foot was injured, it is not systemic (related to general health issue). The most important during any injury is the mind and body balance. If the organs and systems disharmonies are involved, your both feet will be painful. In this case the condition of liver and spleen should be checked during the Japanese medical diagnosis and addressed accordingly. Yet, you as a patient should be a part of a healing process. For this reason, you should be aware of how to create and control your mind and body balance by reading the pages 19-49 and 61-64, about how to sustain healthy liver – on the pages 83-94, and spleen on the pages 95-107 in my book, Your MindBody Alliance & The Truth About Acupuncture.
Our clinical experience shows that people who are not educated in anatomy and physiology are not aware of how to preserve their health. The lack of knowledge and understanding how mind and body correlate leads people to feel out of control over their own health. Reading this book everyone becomes knowledgeable enough to withstand any body health problem and preserve one’s health.
