Ten years ago, I couldn’t sit without pain (25 years sitting at a computer). My doctor sent me to a specialist and a physiotherapist. But they didn’t help. She finally told me that there was nothing else she could do except prescribe pain killers. She also told me that if she were me, she would try various exercise disciplines maybe yoga. Then she said or maybe try massage or acupuncture or whatever I thought might help. I never had it before, therefor I decided to try acupuncture.
Yelena’s treatment had an effect from square one. It took time but eventually not only could eat my meals without kneeling, but I no longer had to take opioids for the pain. So, it was a no-brainer when I found I had pain in my shoulder that I would return to Yelena for help. She did her magic once again. I tried to conceive for many years without success. After seeing Yelena and receiving a course of treatments, I was pregnant. I was so happy!
Yelena used acupuncture throughout the pregnancy to help with morning sickness symptoms, heartburn, indigestion, leg cramping and swelling. My baby was transverse most of my pregnancy.Yelena was able to use an acupuncture technique to get the baby to turn head down, in preparation for delivery. I was overjoyed!

A miracle… I developed Bell’s Palsy very abruptly and felt quite self conscious. It’s very alarming when you suffer sudden paralysis on half of your face. My sister recommended Yelena, and after just one acupuncture treatment my paralysis was 80% gone.

I initially started acupuncture to help with conceiving, but I discovered that I and my body needed more help then just conceiving a baby. It needed healing first to be ready to carry on an infant and deliver a healthy baby.

Let’s say I didn’t like needles until severe back pain shooting down along my right leg brought me to see Yelena Grabko for acupuncture session. I wasn’t able to do or think about anything other than how to get rid of that agonizing pain as soon as possible.
Yelena diagnosed my condition and explained to me that I had L5 – the lowest lumbar vertebrae subluxation and also inflammation of the muscle called Piriformis creating extra pressure on Sciatic nerve along it’s way, that’s why I had lower back pain and hip / leg pain altogether.
Within one acupuncture treatment I was completely pain free and ready to rock & roll!  Yelena combines deep knowledge of the trade with caring, personal approach.
